"A nicely designed restaurant within a lush landscaped complex. It has both indoor air-conditioned and outdoor fresco settings. Menu items are interesting and delicious. Their Staffs are friendly and will explain the dishes and suggest according to your party size and taste buds. We started with their Pisang Goreng which was very crispy and comes with a chocolate dipping sauce. Tried 2 different Daily Sets - a Beef Rendang and Ikan Assam - both were nicely cooked and delicious. Ordered a Lauk Pauk - Prawns with Petai in rich sauce - was a big plate that we had to pack the balance home .... A nice place for couples, family and groups."

"Our 1st visit to Melor House was a while back and it was for lunch. Didn't know they serve buffet breakfast until seeing a recent Facebook ad. The menu spread is quite satisfactory - nasi lemak, mee kari, lontong, laksa johor plus a few selection of Malay kuih. Tastewise wasn't too bad at all. Ambience is nice and quiet. Good for enjoying your meal with friends while having casual conversations. Really worth the RM25 per pax. Slight pity in that the restaurant is located at the rear annex of the Avenue M Hotel, hence lacking a bit of exposure."

"Our first time here. Very idyllic setting for dining with traditional Malay background music. Prompt staff service too. We had their buffet breakfast. At RM28 nett/adult and RM18 nett/child, I find it value for money considering the rather extensive spread (bread, cereal, salad, rice, porridge, noodles, lontong, egg station, kuih, fruits and drinks). The food I chose was decent; no complaints tastewise."
